Especially for our customers that will start the production of their XC800-based products, we have created a special programming solutions that uses the JTAG connection as programming interface.
The XC800 Production Programmer Package includes a XC800 Flash Target Probe that allows to store the application program image file into the device. It then can be set up to be used in two ways, either for standalone operation, i.e. it automatically starts programming the stored image when it is connected to the target. The other way is to use the included DLL to control the device via a PC or production line computer. The DLL offers the functions: Start, Stop, Verify, Erase and Setup (load image file and settings). A maintenance contract for the XC800-ProdPro is available.
Based on the XC800 Production Programmer Package, a complete production environment with multiple targets can be set up by adding the required XC800-Flash-TP (target probe), i.e. for an environment that needs to program 4 targets simultaneously, a XC800-ProdPro and 3 XC800-Flash-TPs are required.
