68HC12 Architecture Overview

|< back

The 68HC12 microcontroller unit (MCU) is a 16-bit device composed of standard on-chip peripherals, flash, RAM and EEPROM (More about the 68HC12 family).

Hitex supports the 68HC12 and HC9S12 derivatives with a complete development tool chain. Emulation systems begin with a low cost BDM debugger, the TantinoS12. The full in-circuit emulator DProbeHC12 can be extended with an additional trace option DTrace or with the high-end extension DBox16. An outstanding feature included is Rias that results in truly undisturbed real-time debugging. All Hitex emulators are controlled by HiTOP, the sophisticated and easy to use Hitex user interface.
