| DProbeHS Emulator Concept |
The modular DProbeHS emulation concept is dedicated to support specific
high-speed 8051 derivatives up to 70 MHz effective operating frequency and 8051
derivatives with extended address space.
The emulator concept is based on the latest FPGA and ASIC-technology.
The handheld size and its modular upgrade capability make this development tool
a valuable help for any design engineer. The DProbeHS is available in several
variants for different families of 8051 derivatives and different fields of
application. This guaranties that all derivative specific properties are emulated
in the correct way. Different processor boards are available to change to a
new derivative within a specific family. Various adapters are available
to easily switch to another package. To make a change from one derivative
family to another easy and with low cost, the add-ons DTrace16 and DBox16 are
universal for all derivatives and can therefore also be used with
other architectures. The additional plug-on trace module, DTrace16 offers
a real-time trace buffer. The extended features of DBox16 make this product
a high-end in-circuit emulator for the professional system engineer.
At the moment DProbeHS variants for the emulation of the following specific 8051 derivatives are available:
You can also check our Tool Selector for the 8051 Architecture to find the proper tool for your 8051 derivative.
Besides the numerous derivatives the DProbeHS also supports the emulation of self made 8051 derivatives based on embedded processor cores (SoC51)
