EVA-S12 is an evaluation board for the Motorola MC9S12-DP microcontroller
family.
Features include:
- LEDs for output visualization
- Pushbuttons (located at interrupt-capable inputs)
- DIP-switch for input simulation
- Support for single-chip and expanded modes
- Voltage regulator with integrated watchdog and inhibit input
- Inhibit control LEDs
- QC120 quad connector for easy and reliable adaptation of the DProbeS12 emulation
system
- Background debug mode (BDM) interface for on-board EEPROM programming/debugging
- LIN interface
- RS232 serial interface
- Up to five CAN interfaces with optional transceiver modules or on-board
ISO/DIS 82C250 drivers
- Expansion connectors
- Wire wrap area
The supply voltage is applied via banana plugs. The voltage regulator provides
a watchdog, which is able to apply a reset pulse to the processor. The voltage
regulator can also be set to inhibit state, which powers down the board. In
this case, the voltage regulator is reactivated by the optional CAN transceivers
or by the onboard LIN transceiver..
