Metrowerks (including former Hiware) is a Hitex tool partner.

Compiler packages from Metrowerks have been tested and have been found to be fully compatible with Hitex development tools. They consist of an ANSI-C cross-compiler, assembler, linker and an integrated workbench. These packages are available for 68HC05, 68HC08, 68HC11, 68HC12, MPC5, ARM and ST7 microcontrollers.
