Unit Testing: Complete Software Test Automation
Hitex is an expert in the field of Testing and Debugging. Since years we are not just selling Testing and Analyzing Software-Tools but also using those tools for our own products and of course offer this service also for our customers.
Unit Testing
Using the Unit Test Tool "Tessy" Hitex offers a test service which will be applied to your application source code. How is the procedure and what are the results?
- You provide your code
You simply supply the source code of the C functions you want to be unit tested. It’s a plus if you can also provide specifications of the functionality and/or comprehensive comments in the source.
- We define the test cases
The definition of test cases are done according to the Classification Tree Method (CTM) applied to the software module specification according to the quality requirements of the application.
- We generate a test case database
Automated Regression Tests can be performed using the Test-Case Database.
- We run the tests
Hitex will run the defined tests, test by test, function by function. If a test fails or gives a suspicious result, we will check with you, what the reason for the unexpected result is.
- We provide the results
After testing is finalized, you will get all the test results. This may also comprise the test data base and the test case specifications obtained by applying the Classification Tree Method.
- You check the results
Now it’s your task to check the test documentation.
What are your advantages?
- You don’t have to buy Tessy!
- You don’t have to learn how to operate Tessy
- You save valuable man-power!
- You shorten time-to-market!
- You simply provide the source code!
- You get fully documented tests!
Hitex also provides:
Training and consulting about testing with Tessy > Workshops about the Classification Tree Method > Verification of conformity with programming standards, e.g. MISRA > Residential test engineers. We adapt to your needs. Naturally, deviations from the procedure described above are possible!
