PC Requirements

All applications used during the workshop are provided on CD or Memory Stick.
For practical reasons, we recommend that all participants joining a workshop use their own portable computers (Laptop/Notebook) which should meet the following requirements:

• Operating system: Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista or 7 (with latest service packs installed),
• Full administrator rights for installing the software,
• At least 512 MB RAM (considering also the requirements of the operating system),
• 1 GB free hard disk space,
• 2 free USB ports (hardware training)

For Ethernet Workshops in addition:

• 1 Ethernet connector,
• Administration rights for modifying the network configuration.
