Evaluation board for the new LPC1800 family

Special features make the evaluation of the new Cortex-M3-based microcontrollers easy

For NXP’s new Cortex-M3-based LPC1800 microcontrollers, Hitex now offers the Evaluation Board LPC1850 ensuring an easy evaluation of the LPC1800 family’s main features.
The evaluation board is equipped with a LPC1850 operating at 150 MHz and offers some special features such as 64MB SDRAM, 32MB Parallel Flash, 512kB SRAM and serial EEPROM. It can be operated over USB as well as using an external power supply or power-over-Ethernet. For debugging the board contains a JTAG and also a 20-pin Cortex Debug Connector with ETM. All communication channels (USB, Ethernet, OTG, UART and CAN) are provided.
An iPod interface cable is available as an option. Application samples show how to control the iPod. With the DSP functionality, the conversion and output of the audio signal over the on-board Class-D audio amplifier is possible.
