HC12 Architecture Overview The 68 HC12 microcontroller unit (MCU)
is a 16-bit device composed of standard on-chip peripherals, flash, RAM and EEPROM
(More about the 68 HC12 family). Hitex
supports 68HC12 derivatives with a complete development tool chain. Emulation
systems begin with a low cost BDM debugger, the JProbeHC12. The full in-circuit
emulator DProbeHC12 can be extended with an additional trace option DTrace or
with the high-end extension DBox16. An outstanding feature included is RIAS(R)
that results in truly undisturbed real-time debugging. All Hitex emulators are
controlled by HiTOP, the sophisticated and easy to use Hitex user interface. In-Circuit-Emulators
and Development Tools (check out the Architectures supported by Hitex Development
Tools) The professional choice for major projects is the in-ciruit emulator.
This hardware-based tool replaces the CPU in the target system and allows a completely
non-intrusive control of the CPU execution giving facilities like READ/WRITE triggering
and real-time tracing. If you are working under some sort of software quality
regime, then emulator based coverage and performance analysis functions are a
common requirement. Hitex offers a comprehensive selection of in-circuit emulators
covering todays industry's standard microcontroller architectures.... Read more

modular DProbe / DBox Range The DProbe range use advanced ASIC techniques
to give a smaller footprint, higher speed and greater modularity. DProbes are
hand-held units that contain the emulation memory, breakpoint and triggering systems
directly on top of the CPU, allowing operation up to maximum CPU clock frequency,
so providing basic emulation functions. Read more about Hitex Products on our
