Building a safe and secure embedded world

An introduction to MCUBoot

Join us for our next technical webinar with Trevor Martin on Thursday 18th of March, 11 am CET.

MCUBoot is an open-source secure bootloader designed to provide a standard implementation for 32-bit microcontrollers. Developed over the last few years, MCUBoot is now becoming adopted into Silicon Vendor driver libraries and is currently the standard bootloader for the Zepher RTOS and the Arm Platform Security Architecture.

In this 30 minute webinar, we will provide an overview of MCUBoot firmware and demonstrate how it can be ported to a Cortex-M based microcontroller to manage multiple firmware images. We will also discuss the bootloader's security aspects and the PC utilities used to sign and encrypt update images.

Trevor Martin is a renowned and well-respected expert in microprocessors. He has been in great demand at Hitex UK for many years as an arm cortex expert, but also as a trainer and book author.
