Hardware Review

The development of complex customer-specific hardware is not only our passion, but our daily bread.

Hitex checks for your hardware not only whether it can be manufactured, but also whether it meets all test requirements. This is how you ensure the future-proofing of your product.

In our schematic review, we examine questions like: Does my circuit fit the requirements of my project? We also check the correct wiring in the schematic and make sure in the load analysis that the components used really fit the planned application.

In the layout review, we check whether your design rules have been applied by the component manufacturers. But we also consider the aspects of design-for-testability and design-for-manufacturing.

But that's not all: When checking signal integrity, our test engineers simulate whether a signal (the routing) meets the requirements of the component specification. Has it been routed and terminated with the correct impedance? Are there reflections on the lines? These could render the transmitted signal unusable.

And the voltage supply during load changes over the frequency range can also be simulated.

We offer high-speed design and layout expertise with state-of-the-art design and layout tools:

  • Circuit diagrams for printed circuit boards with up to 12 layers (both sides)
  • High pin count components: > 1000-pin BGA with ball pitch of 1.0 mm or 0.8 mm
  • Trace widths with 0.1 mm (or finer) with microvias and meander traces
  • Traces with matched impedance and differential pair routing
