The MCUs of Texas Instruments' Hercules family are based on the high performance ARM® Cortex®-R CPU and offer integrated diagnostic features in hardware to directly support the development of IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 functional safety applications. In close cooperation with TI Hitex has created a starter kit that allows direct access and testing of the comprehesive safety features. More details can be found here.
