Infineon's TRAVEO™ microcontroller family (originally developed by Cypress) is based on Arm® Cortex®-R5 cores and TRAVEO II is based on Cortex-M4/M7 cores. The TRAVEO family delivers high performance, enhanced human-machine interfaces, high-security and advanced networking protocols. This microcontroller family is tailored for a broad range of automotive applications such as lighting, automotive instrument clusters and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
The basis for the high performance of TRAVEO microcontrollers are Arm's powerful Cortex R5F and Cortex-M4F/M7F cores. In single or dual core operation the TRAVEO microcontrollers offer state-of-the-art real time performance and comprehensive safety and security features. These microcontrollers are often used in ECUs for hybrid and electric vehicles, body electronics as well as 2D and 3D instrument clusters.
The TRAVEO family embeds dedicated features to increase data security in the car and supports the latest in-car network technologies.
Hitex has been awarded by Infineon as Preferred Design House (PDH) for the TRAVEO family. As a certified service provider, Hitex supports customers around the use of the TRAVEO microcontrollers.
Hitex provides TRAVEO microcontroller start-up assistance as well as training and
consultancy for tools, middleware, functional safety and security. We can also
assist with achieving certification and prototype and system production.
The engineering team at Hitex can help to complete your project, including services for both software and hardware, or by helping to design the TRAVEO microcontroller part of the project to speed up delivery of products or applications.
Software
Unit and integration testing is a part of the development which can easily be outsourced. Hitex’s test experience ranges from testing according to quality management standard right up to SIL4/ASIL D.
Starting with the evaluation boards, our range of development tools contains everything you need for a professional result. From compilers and debuggers right up to unit test and static code analysis software tools, we have the right tools for all challenges.
Hitex provides a range of high-quality software components for the TRAVEO family:
The TRAVEO II HSM performance library offers optimized cryptographic functions for Infineon's TRAVEO II microcontrollers, enabling efficient implementations of AES, SHA, and RSA algorithms. It ensures secure and high-performance data processing for automotive and industrial applications.
The TRAVEO II Flash EEPROM Emulation enables Infineon's TRAVEO II microcontrollers to simulate EEPROM functionality using internal flash memory. This feature ensures reliable non-volatile data storage and retrieval, eliminating the need for external EEPROM components and simplifying system design for automotive and industrial applications.
The TRAVEO II AUTOSAR Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL) provides standardized access to microcontroller peripherals for seamless integration into AUTOSAR-compliant automotive systems. It simplifies software development, enhances portability, and ensures efficient utilization of TRAVEO II microcontrollers.
The TRAVEO II Self-Test Libraries are tailored for Infineon's TRAVEO II microcontrollers, empowering the integration of built-in self-tests and diagnostic routines. This ensures robustness and reliability in safety-critical automotive and industrial applications, meeting stringent functional safety requirements and simplifying development.
