Pioneering technologies in review of Embedded World
At the recent show, our EN5012x SIL4 concept for railway safety systems, using two AURIX TC387 microcontrollers and a TRAVEO II, attracted considerable attention. In addition, our focus on safety was demonstrated by CMD's FADEC, a redundant electronic control unit for diesel engines, which Hitex helped to develop. Matthias Spranz, Head of Engineering, gave a presentation on functional safety and we also presented a reference design for an engine controller made from fully recyclable PCB laminate from Jiva Materials.
