Embedded World is taking off and Hitex is there!

Embedded World 2024 is just around the corner and planning and conceptualisation is already underway: stand design, stand construction, trade fair highlights and demos. Preparation for interesting discussions with customers and partners and dialogue with the press and experts from all over the world.

This year's Embedded World will be big and is already very popular - just like in the "old days". And we would be delighted to welcome you to our stand (Hall 4, Stand 205).

Together with MOTEON, the experts for motor and drive control, we would like to explain and demonstrate the state of the art in functional safety in embedded systems. The focus will be on automotive, railway and industrial applications. Standards and certifications, and of course methods, tools and software components that help to integrate the required safety features.

Will you be attending the Embedded World? Book your ticket with the code "ew24519894" for free directly at the fair.

Make an appointment and we will save you time and give you a personalized presentation, write us an e-mail at sales(at)hitex.de.

Presentation "Proven in Use vs. SIL by Design"

Safety awareness among users and system integrators has increased steadily in recent years. As a result, more and more industries are demanding functional safety in their applications and higher levels of safety. In his presentation, Matthias Spranz, Head of Engineering, compares the two approaches SIL by Design and Proven in Use.

Validating Motor Control Software

Experience MOTEON’s passion about motor control with the Motor Messenger demonstrator. While the motor is running in a sensorless field-oriented control, the star potential is shaped to post messages on a scope screen having no effect on sinusoidal phase currents. This modulation illustrates the competencies of motor control optimization.

More about MOTEON

Demonstrator CMD FADEC

Full authority digital engine control (FADEC)

Full redundant electronic control unit for Common Rail Diesel engines

The CMD project involved Hitex & Infineon in developing the FADEC (ECU) using Infineon´s single core Aurix TC26x Controller. Hitex provided services for the SW framework, low-level-drivers, startup code, scheduler, hardware review, safety concept, and Aurix SafeTlib integration. Plus, aided in parts of the development tools such as SafeTlib & TESSY

EN5012x SIL4 concept: Safety System Project for Railway Infrastructure

model train track

Fail safe system architecture with dual AURIX TC387

The demo features a train track with a railway crossing, position sensors, and fault injection capability. The control system oversees sensor monitoring and railway crossing actuation. Key products highlighted include AURIX TC387, TLF35584, and TRAVEO II, alongside software components such as Infineon MCAL, Hitex SafeTpack, and a graphic framework.
