STM32PerformanceStick (2008) – Full Evaluation, Pocket Size

The STM32PerformanceStick brought a complete evaluation and application package for STM32 microcontrollers in a compact USB stick format. Developers received a ready-to-use hardware platform including a software toolchain and sample applications - ideal for a quick entry into 32-bit microcontrollers.
As one of the first evaluation boards in this form factor, it enabled the evaluation of peripherals, performance and energy consumption in real time, without the need for complex lab setups. Even though the product has since been replaced by modern alternatives, it remains an example of how well thought-out design can simplify everyday development.

PowerScale (2010) - Making energy consumption visible

PowerScale made the energy consumption of embedded systems visible in granular detail and correlated the measurement data directly with the program flow. Developers could change code and immediately see how the modification affected power consumption – a crucial advantage when optimizing battery-powered designs.
This proven functionality continues today in the ULINKplus Debug Adapter, which combines these analysis capabilities with modern debug functions.

SafeTkit Safety-Concept (2011) - The structured path to functional safety

The SafeTkit Safety-Concept offered a structured, hands-on introduction to the Infineon PRO-SIL concept for functional safety. It bundled hardware, software and process aspects into an adaptable reference design and addressed requirements from standards such as IEC 61508 and ISO 26262.
Preconfigured safety mechanisms and supporting documentation helped development teams systematically progress from feasibility study to certifiable production solution. Designed for the TriCore generation (TC1), the concept paved the way for subsequent safety solutions and demonstrated Hitex's expertise in functional safety – expertise that continues today with SafeTpack for the newer AURIX™ microcontrollers and the Infineon Safety Library.

SafeTpack - AURIX™ Safety Manager (2019) - Safe and fast to ISO 26262 certification

The SafeTpack - AURIX™ Safety Manager is the advanced solution for the second AURIX™ microcontroller generation. The extended concept supports safety applications from ASIL A to ASIL D and is certified to SIL-3 (IEC 61508) by TÜV SÜD. Hitex developed this safety manager to address the most common requirements of the AURIX™ Safety Manual, is PRO-SIL™ compliant, and offers a fast and cost-effective path to ISO 26262 certification for safety applications with AURIX™.
Today, SafeTpack is a key component of the AURIX™ Safety and Security Suite SafeTpal – a solution which is nominated for the Embedded Award this year, demonstrating that innovation at Hitex continues even after 50 years. Vote here for Hitex SafeTpal for the community choice award!
