Safety and Security for Infineon’s AURIX RISC-V MCUs

Hitex is currently developing a new version of SafeTpal for RISC-V. Hitex SafeTpal is a comprehensive safety and security suite designed specifically for Infineon’s automotive microcontroller family. SafeTpal for RISC-V will be available in sync with the first customer shipments of the new AURIX™ RISC-V-based microcontrollers, enabling OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers to start safe, secure, and scalable development immediately.

Why SafeTpal for RISC-V AURIX MCUs

Infineon has announced the new AURIX™ microcontroller family based on RISC‑V, extending its automotive MCU portfolio beyond TriCore (AURIX™ TC family) and Arm (TRAVEO™, PSOC™ families). At Embedded World 2025, Infineon introduced a Synopsys-based virtual prototype starter kit, enabling customers to begin developing software and tools ahead of chip availability. Hitex SafeTpal leverages this virtual prototype to help teams validate early and de-risk integration.

  • Support for a range of automotive domains, from entry‑level MCUs to high‑performance controllers
