Hitex is the specialist for functional safety and cybersecurity and preferred design house for AURIX™ microcontrollers. On September 24, Hitex and its partners Infineon, HighTec EDV Systeme, MathWorks, PLS and Synopsys will demonstrate how model-based development (MBD) can be used to develop safety-critical and complex systems safely and time-efficiently.
Embedded development with model-based methods
Model-based development accelerates the design of embedded systems through visual models, simulations and automated code generation. The advantages are: fewer errors, more efficient processes and shorter development times. The AURIX™ Knowledge Lab will show how MBD can be used for safety-critical applications with the AURIX™ microcontroller. Highlights of the event include examples showing how qualified tools and the use of MathWorks' hardware support package simplify the development of embedded systems. In addition, testing and debugging of MBD-generated code on real hardware will be demonstrated.
Agenda: Compact and hands-on
The event is divided into blocks of 15-minute presentations followed by a Q&A session.
- Basics: "Introduction" and "Safety made easy with the Hitex SafeTpal Suite"
- Model-based development for AURIX™: "Drive Core - scalable software bundles", "Model-based development and virtual ECUs targeting the PPU", "Using safety certified drivers with MathWorks HSP"
- Software Tools, Components, and Testing: "The right compiler", "Model-based testing on the hardware"
- Wrap-Up: "Preferred design house, eval boards, training opportunities"
