embedded world 2026

Hitex at embedded world 2026

Meet us at embedded world 2026 in Nuremberg: March 10–12, 2026, as usual in Hall 4, Booth 205. In 2026, we will also be celebrating our 50th anniversary – live at a booth that celebrates five decades of embedded excellence. Under the motto "From 8-bit to AI: 50 Years of Embedded Excellence," we will show how we have actively shaped the embedded industry since the early days of microcontrollers – and why the most exciting chapters are still ahead of us.

We accompany our customers from concept to finished product – with expertise in product development, testing, production, and certification. Our customers come from almost all industries, with a focus on automotive, IoT, and railways. We support you in setting up safe and secure embedded systems and present certified tools and services in accordance with ISO 26262, ISO 21434, EN 5012x, DO‑178C, IEC 61508, and IEC 62443, among others.

Here is an overview of what you can expect to see on our stand:

Demo: SafeTpal - Safety & Security Suite for AURIX™ & Infineon's Next Gen Microcontrollers based on RISC-V

Hitex SafeTpal is an integrated framework of software, hardware, consulting and training for the efficient development of safety-critical embedded systems. It bundles qualified drivers, safety mechanisms and model-based workflows and supports AURIX™ TC3xx and Infineon's Next Gen microcontrollers based on RISC-V. Core components are the qualified hardware abstraction layer SafeThal and SafeThsp (Hardware Support Package) for integration into MathWorks environments (Simulink, Embedded Coder) for seamless switching from iLLD to qualified drivers without model customization.

In our SafeTpal demo, we show the entire development workflow using a simple example: from the model of a running light to code generation using the Matlab/Infineon HSP blocks. Realized on our SafeTdevboard, which is a physical representation of the Hitex SafeTschematic reference design, a state machine is modeled in Matlab/Simulink that switches different patterns of an LED running light depending on external triggers. After code generation and deployment on the AURIX™ TC3x, the system can be subjected to various stimuli and tested via a miniHIL system.

Hitex is nominated for the Embedded Award this year, with the AURIX™ Safety and Security Suite SafeTpal! Vote here for Hitex SafeTpal for the community choice award!

Class at the Embedded World Conference: Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) – Practical Implementation Examples

  • Class 3.2: Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) – Practical Implementation Examples
  • Speaker: Dr. Norbert Paul, Senior Software Developer, Hitex GmbH
  • Time & Place: Wed, 11.03.2026, 2:00:00 PM - 5:00:00 PM (incl. 30 min coffee break)

Cybersecurity is central to modern embedded systems. This class covers the basic implications of the CRA on embedded systems and demonstrates the fundamentals of TrustZone, Trusted Firmware, and bootloaders using real-world examples. Learn how to implement current security requirements, use Arm TrustZone in practice, and adapt development processes to cybersecurity requirements.

Demo: Custom gaming on Arm® Cortex-M - 8-bit look, modern engineering

In keeping with the anniversary motto "From 8-Bit to AI: 50 Years of Embedded Excellence", we present a gaming demo on Arm® Cortex-M in retro 8-bit design - including custom PCB. The emulation of the 8-bit game "Pong" is a compact example of 100% Hitex engineering: hardware and software design, driver integration and implementation through to the executable product.

Demo: PSOC™ Vision - Edge-AI "Rock Paper Scissors" game

With the PSOC™ Vision Demo on the Infineon PSOC Edge E84 AI Kit we show an interactive Rock-Paper-Scissors application as a tangible Edge-AI example at our booth. As a Preferred Design House for PSOC™ / AURIX™ / TRAVEO™, we are happy to discuss suitable platforms, architecture options and implementation paths for your next embedded project.

Embedded World Conference: Edge AI in safety-critical systems - is it "safe"?

  • Lecture: Integrating Edge AI in Safety-Critical Embedded Systems - Safety Still Ensured?
  • Speaker: Eranyan Ravanan, Field Application Engineer, Hitex GmbH
  • Time & Place: Tue, 10.03.2026, 16:00-16:30, Session Cluster 5
  • Topics: Edge AI, Safety & Security

The presentation will shed light on how Edge AI can be reconciled with the requirements of functional safety - especially where systems must be predictable, testable and standard-compliant. A structured approach will be presented, including separate system designs, safety checks for AI steps and diagnostics for neural network hardware, based on platforms such as Infineon AURIX TC3xx/TC4xx and arm-based systems - with a view to ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.
