Developers and engineers will gain hands-on knowledge about the latest advances in sensorless BLDC motor control. The free online event will take place on May 21, 2025 from 15:00 to 18:00. In compact presentations of 15 minutes each, experts from Infineon, EBV, MOTEON and Hitex will provide the necessary know-how to optimize modern motor control systems. The presentations will be rounded off by Q&A sessions, in which participants will have the opportunity to put their questions directly to the experts.
Sensorless BLDC motors
Sensorless BLDC motors (brushless DC motors) are increasingly the first choice for battery and mains-powered devices. They are characterized by high reliability, freedom from maintenance and efficiency. Possible applications range from household appliances and industrial automation to applications such as heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, robotics and light electric vehicles.
At the heart of the event is Infineon's PSOCTM Control microcontroller family, which is based on a powerful Arm® Cortex®-M33 processor. This enables precise real-time control and offers advanced safety functions. PSOCTM Control is complemented by a large number of integrated peripheral components that are specially tailored to the requirements of modern motor control applications.
Agenda
From 15:00 - Basics and introduction
From 16:00 - Software development and safety
From 17:00 - Quality assurance and testing
The event offers both theoretical insights and practical live demos that help to use the PSOCTM Control microcontroller family effectively.
