PSOC™ Edge "Rocket Ship Lander" Demo

The PSOC™ Edge "rocket ship lander" demo showcases an interactive game built with the PSOC™ Edge MCU. Players control a descending rocket using hand wave gestures to avoid obstacles and land safely, with game graphics displayed on a 10-inch screen.
This demo highlights the PSOC Edge’s compute capabilities, utilizing the Cortex®-M55 with Helium DSP for game logic and the Ethos™-U55 CPU for machine learning tasks. Hand gestures are detected by the Infineon XENSIV™ 60GHz radar sensor (BGT60TR13C), with gesture data processed via a machine learning model using Imagimob and ModusToolbox.
The game features advanced HMI capabilities for visual elements, with visuals rendered on a 10-inch display through the PSOC Edge’s MIPI DSI interface. Users can navigate the game’s intuitive menu via touch or radar gestures, simulating next-generation HMI. Light and Versatile Graphics Library (LVGL) software provides the embedded graphics enablement.

EN5012x SIL4 safety system project based on AURIX

A demo of a railroad infrastructure is presented that includes a level crossing, position sensors, and a fault injection function. The control system is responsible for monitoring the sensors and controlling the crossing.
The products used in this project include the AURIX TC4x processor in combination with a redundant AURIX TC3x processor, the TLF35584 power management IC and the TRAVEO II microcontroller. In addition, software components such as the Infineon MCAL (Microcontroller Abstraction Layer), the Hitex SafeTpack and a graphics framework are used.
A trained neural network is implemented on the AURIX TC4 processor in the PPU (Peripheral Processing Unit), which analyzes the sensor data from the position sensors and uses it to determine the position of the train. This makes it possible to detect incorrect sensor data and helps to increase safety.

Presentation: Successful SIL4 Project thanks to HIL Testing During Development

Projects according to the highest safety standards such as SIL-4 or ASIL-D require precise planning, complete documentation and a clear test and verification strategy.
Unfortunately, in practice, the testing and verification effort is sometimes massively underestimated - resulting in project delays, additional costs and customer frustration. How a test strategy for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) tests can also reduce these risks during development is demonstrated using a specific project in the field of railroad signaling (CENELEC/SIL4). These strategies can also be transferred to ISO 26262 ASIL-D and IEC 61508 SIL4.
Based on the development process, the measures taken are discussed and practical tips are given.

TESSY v5.1 – Enhanced Testing Efficiency with AUTOSAR Support

The Testtool TESSY performs automated dynamic module / unit and integration testing of embedded software in C/C++. New in 2025 is, that Razorcat, as a member of the AUTOSAR consortium, enhances the development and testing of AUTOSAR SWCs with TESSY. The AUTOSAR runtime environment (RTE) for software components (SWC) will be automatically generated based on the ARXML file, with various consistency checks applied to the implementation code or dynamically during tests. TESSY will display the C code interface alongside AUTOSAR port interfaces for easy stimulation and testing. SWC ports and interfaces will be accessible within TESSY's testing interface and test data editor, allowing seamless provision of test data through the graphical interface.
